Introductory Note: * A Heretic is a baptized person who rejects an authoritative teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.A schismatic is a person who refuses communion with a true Pope or refuses communion with true Catholics.An apostate is a person who rejects the Christian faith completely.All heretics, schismatics and apostates sever themselves from the Catholic Church automatically (Pius XII, Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943).Therefore, if one is a heretic he is not a Catholic (Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum June 29, 1896).And most heretics convince themselves that they are not denying any dogma when they actually are.This page will be updated periodically. (All emphasis, such as bolding, underlining, and italicization is not necessarily that of the quoted author.)* Heresies from Benedict XVI used in past Heresy of the Week columns are usually found in Benedict XVI's recent heresies file.His worst heresies are found in our section on: The Heresies of Benedict XVI file.Other past Heresies of the Week are probably found in either the Heresy of the Week Archive or the Some of the Recent Feature Articles page or The Heresy of the Week Archive for those from years back.

Benedict XVI announces his plan for Assisi - He describes various false religious leaders who will gather there as Pilgrims of truth, pilgrims of faith - He also pays tribute to the schismatic Orthodox Church and more

Benedict XVIs June 4, 2011 Address to representatives of civil society at the National Theatre in Zagreb: The participation of representatives from other Churches and Christian communities, as well as the Jewish and Muslim religions, helps remind us that religion is not a separate area marked off from society.Rather, it is a natural element within society, constantly recalling the vertical dimension: attentive listening to God as the condition for seeking the common good, for seeking justice and reconciliation in the truth.Religion places man in relation with God, the Creator and Father of all, and must therefore be a force for peace.Religions need always to be purified according to their true essence in order to correspond to their true mission Truly, the great achievements of the modern age the recognition and guarantee of freedom of conscience for the sake of authentic secularism, social justice, the defense of life and of the family, freedom of religion and education.[1]

Benedict XVI utters the blasphemy that various false religions have a true mission from God.He also says that religions need to be purified to correspond to this true mission.This clearly indicates that multiple religions have a mission, and are therefore endorsed by God.This is complete and total apostasy from the Catholic faith.

Benedict XVI also declares that the false religions of Islam and Judaism lead us to God: he says they represent attentive listening to God.Benedict XVI then states that these false religions place man in relation with God.

Benedict XVIs June 28, 2011 Address to the Delegation of the Orthodox Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople: I thank with all my heart my Venerable Brother, the Ecumenical Patriarch, His Holiness Bartholomaios I, and the Holy Synod of the Ecumenical Patriarchate who have wished to send you, dear Brothers, as their representatives to take part here with us in this solemn celebration Your participation in our Feast, like the presence of our representatives in Constantinople for the feast of the Apostle Andrew, expresses the friendship and authentic brotherhood that unites the Church of Rome and the Ecumenical Patriarchate, bonds that are solidly founded on this faith received from the witness of the Apostles.The profound spiritual closeness that we experience each time we meet is a cause of great joy and gratitude to God for me it is with great joy that I note the important commitment with which His Holiness Bartholomaios spends himself for his subjects.In our common intention and remembering the beautiful example of my Predecessor Bl. John Paul II, I have wished to invite our Christian brethren, the representatives of the other religious traditions of the world and of the important figures of the worlds of culture and of science to take part next 27 October, in the town of Assisi, in a Day of reflection, dialogue and prayer for peace and justice in the world, which will have as its theme: Pilgrims of truth, pilgrims of faith.This joint march through the streets of the town of St Francis will be the sign of the wish to continue on the way of dialogue and brotherhood.Your Eminence, dear members of the Delegation, in thanking you once again for your presence in Rome in this solemn circumstance, I ask you to convey my fraternal greeting to my venerable Brother, Patriarch Bartholomaios I, to the Holy Synod, to the clergy and all the faithful of the ecumenical Patriarchate, assuring them of my affection and of solidarity of the Church of Rome which today is celebrating her Holy Founders.[2]

Benedict XVI states that the Catholic Church and the schismatic Orthodox Church are united.He says that both churches have the same faith received from the apostles.As usual, he calls the schismatic leader His Holiness.He also calls the schismatic leader Your Eminence.Historically, the title Your Eminence was given to cardinals of the Catholic Church.He describes the various false religious leaders who will gather at Assisi this October, Pilgrims of truth, pilgrims of faith!This means that the practitioners of these false religions have the faith and the truth.This is heresy and apostasy.At the end, Benedict XVI describes how much affection he has for the schismatic Church, and how he is in union with them.

Benedict XVIs June 9, 2011 Address to the ambassador of Ghana: I have also noted the climate of religious freedom enjoyed in Ghana.A democratic society that fosters freedom of worship, and that appreciates the presence of religious institutions that strive to rise above political interests and are instead motivated by faith and moral values, understands that there is much to gain through these freedoms for the positive growth of all the countrys institutions.Indeed, countries that do so may derive many benefits from those institutions, by drawing on the wisdom found in religious traditions, especially when citizens are confronted by questions for which science and technology provide little or no answer.Indeed, here secular and religious interests find common ground and are able to grow together by combining the demands of macroeconomic progress and scientific knowledge with religions perennial wisdom and understanding of man and society.[3]

Benedict XVI praises a society that appreciates the presence of religious institutions.This means that he thinks its great that a society might possess numerous false religions.He then says that countries derive many benefits from false religions by drawing on the wisdom found in religious traditions, especially when citizens are confronted by questions.He then praises numerous false religions perennial wisdom.

Benedict XVIs June 9, 2011 Address to the ambassador of Moldova: The harmonious diplomatic relations between Moldova and the Holy See, established 18 years ago, give me great pleasure.This harmony is due to the Christian faith that dwells in your nation and its inhabitants and I pay a tribute to the Orthodox Church as a whole.She has always shared with the Catholic Church the need to defend the religious and cultural values against the surrounding materialism and relativism which calls into question the Christian contribution to life and to society.May the brotherly relations between the Orthodox and the Catholic faithful grow deeper.These relations of reciprocal respect and friendship are a witness of love... the excellence of relations with the Orthodox Church show her good will.[4]

Benedict XVI pays tribute to the schismatic Orthodox Church as a whole!

Benedict XVIs June 9, 2011 Address to the ambassador of Belize: Among the laws established in your country are the rights to religious freedom and freedom of worship.As I had occasion to note recently, the right to religious freedom is rooted in the very dignity of the human person, whose transcendent nature must not be ignored or overlooked.Freedom of religion and freedom of worship allow believers to flourish as individuals and to contribute positively and fully to the life of the country in every sphere of human activity.[5]

Benedict XVI promotes freedom of religion as a way to allow believers to flourish and contribute positively and fully to the life of the country.This means that Benedict XVI believes people who practice false religions are believers.He also believes that when they can flourish practicing their false religions, they contribute positively and fully to the life of the country.

Benedict XVIs June 9, 2011 Address to six new ambassadors: social life can be constantly enriched by integrating cultural and religious diversity through the sharing of values, a source of brotherhood and communion.Life in society must be considered first and foremost as a spiritual reality.It is the role of political leaders to guide people towards the wisdom so longed for which must culminate in religious freedom, the authentic face of peace.[6]

Benedict XVI teaches the heresy that life is constantly enriched by the presence of various false religions in society.He also states that religious freedom is what will bring peace to the world.

Benedict XVIs May 23, 2011 Address to Delegation of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia: Mr President, Hon. Members of the Government, Distinguished Authorities, Venerable Brothers of the Orthodox Church and of the Catholic Church[7]

Benedict XVIs May 23, 2011 Address to Delegation of Bulgaria: Madam President of Parliament, Hon. Members of Government, Distinguished Authorities, Venerable Brothers of the Orthodox Church and of the Catholic Church[8]

Benedict XVI frequently calls the schismatic Orthodox Venerable Brothers.This is exactly what Pope Pius IX called bishops of the Catholic Church.

Benedict XVIs June 8, 2011 Catechesis at General Audience: I also welcome the Council of International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services.[9]

This quote proves that Benedict XVI fully approves the Charismatic movement.

Some recent quotes (for those who are interested) on Benedict XVI promoting the heresy of religious liberty

Benedict XVIs June 9, 2011 Address to the ambassador of New Zealand: ... values are deeply inscribed in the culture which gave birth to New Zealands political and legal institutions.A cornerstone of that heritage remains respect for the rights of freedom of religion and freedom of worship, to the benefit of all.These rights, enshrined in the legal traditions to which you are heirs, are proper to each person because they are inherent in the humanity which is common to us all.Through the promotion of these freedoms, society is better equipped to respond to profound political and social challenges in a way consonant with humanitys deepest aspirations.[10]

Benedict XVIs June 9, 2011 Address to the ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic: Syria has traditionally been an example of tolerance, conviviality and harmonious relations between Christians and Muslims and today their ecumenical and interreligious relations are good.I warmly hope this friendly coexistence of all cultural and religious members of the nation will continue to develop for the greatest good of all, thereby reinforcing a unity founded on justice and solidarity Daily relations with their Muslim compatriots shed light on the importance of interreligious dialogue and on the possibility of working together in many ways for the common good.[11]

Benedict XVIs June 5, 2011 Homily at the tomb of Blessed Alojzije Stepinac: Precisely because of his [Blessed Alojzije Stepinac] strong Christian conscience, he knew how to resist every form of totalitarianism, becoming, in a time of Nazi and Fascist dictatorship, a defender of the Jews, the Orthodox It is also important for bishops above all and for priests to strive for reconciliation among separated Christians and between Christians and Muslims, following the footsteps of Christ[12]

A HERETIC CANNOT BE A VALID POPE

It is a proven fact that Ratzinger (now Benedict XVI) is a non-Catholic heretic.The Catholic Church teaches that a heretic cannot be validly elected Pope, since a heretic is not a member of the Catholic Church.Ratzinger, who is now Benedict XVI, is a non-Catholic Antipope whose election was utterly null and void.

Pope Paul IV, Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Officio, Feb. 15, 1559: 6. In addition, [by this Our Constitution, which is to remain valid in perpetuity We enact, determine, decree and define:-] that if ever at any time it shall appear that any Bishop, even if he be acting as an Archbishop, Patriarch or Primate; or any Cardinal of the aforesaid Roman Church, or, as has already been mentioned, any legate, or even the Roman Pontiff, prior to his promotion or his elevation as Cardinal or Roman Pontiff, has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy:

(i) the promotion or elevation, even if it shall have been uncontested and by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void and worthless
;
(ii) it shall not be possible for it to acquire validity (nor for it to be said that it has thus acquired validity) through the acceptance of the office, of consecration, of subsequent authority, nor through possession of administration, nor through the putative enthronement of a Roman Pontiff, or Veneration, or obedience accorded to such by all, nor through the lapse of any period of time in the foregoing situation;
(iii) it shall not be held as partially legitimate in any way

(vi) those thus promoted or elevated shall be deprived automatically, and without need for any further declaration, of all dignity, position, honour, title, authority, office and power.

10. No one at all, therefore, may infringe this document of our approbation, re-introduction, sanction, statute and derogation of wills and decrees, or by rash presumption contradict it. If anyone, however, should presume to attempt this, let him know that he is destined to incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles, Peter and Paul.

Given in Rome at Saint Peter's in the year of the Incarnation of the Lord 1559, 15th February, in the fourth year of our Pontificate.

+ I, Paul, Bishop of the Catholic Church

St. Robert Bellarmine: A pope who is a manifest heretic automatically (per se) ceases to be pope and head, just as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and a member of the Church.Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by the Church.This is the teaching of all the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction. (De Romano Pontifice, II, 30)
