Introductory Note: * A Heretic is a baptized person who rejects an authoritative teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.A schismatic is a person who refuses communion with a true Pope or refuses communion with true Catholics.An apostate is a person who rejects the Christian faith completely.All heretics, schismatics and apostates sever themselves from the Catholic Church automatically (Pius XII, Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943).Therefore, if one is a heretic he is not a Catholic (Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum June 29, 1896).And most heretics convince themselves that they are not denying any dogma when they actually are.This page will be updated periodically.(All emphasis, such as bolding, underlining, and italicization is not necessarily that of the quoted author.)* Heresies from Benedict XVI used in past Heresy of the Week columns are usually found in Benedict XVI's recent heresies file.His worst heresies are found in our section on: The Heresies of Benedict XVI file.Other past Heresies of the Week are probably found in either the Heresy of the Week Archive or the Some of the Recent Feature Articles page or The Heresy of the Week Archive for those from years back.

Benedict XVIs amazingly heretical statements on Islam, Judaism and other issues

Benedict XVI, Address to seven hundred representatives of French culture, members of the EU and UNESCO, and several representatives of the Muslim community in France, September 12, 2008: I thank the delegates of the French Islamic community for having accepted the invitation to participate in this meeting: I convey to them my best wishes for the holy season of Ramadan already underway. [1]

Benedict XVI calls the Islamic season of Ramadan the holy season of Ramadan!

Benedict XVI, Address during meeting in France with representatives of the Jewish Community, September 12, 2008:Dear friends, it is with great pleasure that I meet with you this evening.Our meeting auspiciously coincides with the vigil of the weekly celebration of the Shabbat, the day which from time immemorial has occupied a significant position in the religious and cultural life of the people of Israel.Every pious Jew sanctifies the Shabbat with the reading of the Scriptures and the reciting of the PsalmsDoes not the Talmud Yoma (85b) say: the Sabbath is offered to you, but you are not offered to the Sabbath?... we share a relationship that should be strengthened and lived.And we know that these fraternal bonds constitute a continual invitation to know and to respect one another better.By her very nature the Catholic Church feels obliged to respect the Covenant made by the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.Indeed, the Church herself is situated within the eternal Covenant of the Almighty, whose plans are immutable, and she respects the children of the Promise, the children of the Covenant, as her beloved brothers and sisters in the faithI cannot neglect, on an occasion such as this, to recall the eminent role played by the Jews of France in the building up of the whole nation and of their prestigious contribution to her spiritual patrimony.They have given and continue to give great figures to the spheres of politics, culture and the arts.To each one of them I extend affectionate and respectful wishes and with fervor I invoke upon all of your families and upon all your communities a special Blessing of the Lord of time and history.Shabbat shalom! [2]

Benedict XVI says that Jews are our brothers and sisters in the faith and that they add to the spiritual patrimony of the nation!He also clearly teaches that the Jews are part of Gods covenant (heresy).

Benedict XVI, Answer to question during flight to Australia, July 12, 2008:

Question: Do you think that, due to secularism, France is losing its Christian identity?

Answer from Benedict XVI: It seems to me obvious today that secularism in itself is not in opposition to the faith.I would even say that it is a fruit of the faith[3]

Benedict XVI, Reflection, August 10, 2008:Together with our Orthodox brethren, let us pray intensely for these intentions which we confidently entrust to the intercession of Mary Most Holy. [4]

Benedict XVI, Address, July 5, 2008: the splendid new organ and of the choir conducted by Mr. Kohlaufl and in the beauty of that luminous church, we felt the joy that comes from God not only the spark of the gods of which Schiller speaks but truly the splendor of the flame of the Holy Spirit [5]

Benedict XVI, Answer to question during flight to Australia, July 12, 2008:

Question: There is a risk of the fragmentation of the Anglican Communion and the possibility that some may ask to be received into the Catholic Church.What are your hopes for the Lambeth Conference and for the Archbishop of Canterbury?

Answer from Benedict XVI: My essential contribution can only be prayer and with my prayers I shall be very close to the Anglican Bishops meeting at the Lambeth Conference.We cannot and must not intervene immediately in their discussions, we respect their responsibilities and what we desire is that new divisions or ruptures may be avoided and a responsible solution found in keeping with our time and also with fidelity to the Gospel.These two things must go hand and hand This is my hope for the Archbishop of Canterbury: that the Anglican Communion in communion with the Gospel of Christ and of the Word of the Lord may find responses to the current challenges. [6]

Benedict XVI, Reflection, August 3, 2008: seek to make the earth more human, that is, closer to God. [7]

A HERETIC CANNOT BE A VALID POPE

It is a proven fact that Ratzinger (now Benedict XVI) is a non-Catholic heretic.The Catholic Church teaches that a heretic cannot be validly elected Pope, since a heretic is not a member of the Catholic Church.Ratzinger, who is now Benedict XVI, is a non-Catholic Antipope whose election was utterly null and void.

Pope Paul IV, Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Officio, Feb. 15, 1559: 6. In addition, [by this Our Constitution, which is to remain valid in perpetuity We enact, determine, decree and define:-] that if ever at any time it shall appear that any Bishop, even if he be acting as an Archbishop, Patriarch or Primate; or any Cardinal of the aforesaid Roman Church, or, as has already been mentioned, any legate, or even the Roman Pontiff, prior to his promotion or his elevation as Cardinal or Roman Pontiff, has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy:

(i) the promotion or elevation, even if it shall have been uncontested and by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void and worthless
;
(ii) it shall not be possible for it to acquire validity (nor for it to be said that it has thus acquired validity) through the acceptance of the office, of consecration, of subsequent authority, nor through possession of administration, nor through the putative enthronement of a Roman Pontiff, or Veneration, or obedience accorded to such by all, nor through the lapse of any period of time in the foregoing situation;
(iii) it shall not be held as partially legitimate in any way

(vi) those thus promoted or elevated shall be deprived automatically, and without need for any further declaration, of all dignity, position, honour, title, authority, office and power.

10. No one at all, therefore, may infringe this document of our approbation, re-introduction, sanction, statute and derogation of wills and decrees, or by rash presumption contradict it. If anyone, however, should presume to attempt this, let him know that he is destined to incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles, Peter and Paul.

Given in Rome at Saint Peter's in the year of the Incarnation of the Lord 1559, 15th February, in the fourth year of our Pontificate.

+ I, Paul, Bishop of the Catholic Church

St. Robert Bellarmine: A pope who is a manifest heretic automatically (per se) ceases to be pope and head, just as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and a member of the Church.Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by the Church.This is the teaching of all the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction. (De Romano Pontifice, II, 30)
