Introductory Note: * A Heretic is a baptized person who rejects an authoritative teaching of the Roman Catholic Church.A schismatic is a person who refuses communion with a true Pope or refuses communion with true Catholics.An apostate is a person who rejects the Christian faith completely.All heretics, schismatics and apostates sever themselves from the Catholic Church automatically (Pius XII, Mystici Corporis, June 29, 1943).Therefore, if one is a heretic he is not a Catholic (Pope Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum June 29, 1896).And most heretics convince themselves that they are not denying any dogma when they actually are.This page will be updated periodically. (All emphasis, such as bolding, underlining, and italicization is not necessarily that of the quoted author.)* Heresies from Benedict XVI used in past Heresy of the Week columns are usually found in Benedict XVI's recent heresies file.His worst heresies are found in our section on: The Heresies of Benedict XVI file.Other past Heresies of the Week are probably found in either the Heresy of the Week Archive or the Some of the Recent Feature Articles page or The Heresy of the Week Archive for those from years back.

Benedict XVI states that the deceased leader of the schismatic Orthodox Church was a distinguished Pastor in the Church, the Archbishop of Greece and a faithful servant of the Lord

Benedict XVI, Telegram to Seraphim, Bishop of the Orthodox Church, on the passing of Schismatic Orthodox Bishop H.B. Christodoulos, January 28, 2008: Deeply saddened by the news of the untimely death of His Beatitude Christodoulos, Archbishop of Athens and All Greece, I express to you, to the Holy Synod and all the faithful my earnest condolences, assuring you of my spiritual closeness to all those who mourn the passing of this distinguished Pastor of the Church of Greece... I and Catholics around the world pray the Orthodox Church of Greece will be sustained by the grace of God in continuing to build on the pastoral achievements of the late Archbishop and that in commending the noble soul of His Beatitude to our Heavenly Fathers loving mercy you will be comforted by the Lords promise to reward his faithful servants.Please accept, Your Eminence, this expression of my closeness in prayer to you and your Brother Bishops as you guide the Church in this time of transition.With fraternal affection in the Lord, Benedictus PP. XVI [1]

This short telegram is jam-packed with heresy.As some of you know, we have proven before that Benedict XVI has signed joint declarations with Orthodox schismatics in which he declares them to be pastors in the church of Christ.In this heretical telegram, Benedict XVI declares that the deceased schismatic Christodoulos was the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece (something he has also done before).Many of you probably may not know that, in the country of Greece, there are bishops who claim to be Catholic and accept Benedict XVI as a valid pope.But Benedict XVI has declared repeatedly in the past, and does so again here, that the openly schismatic Orthodox bishop was the true Archbishop of Athens and All Greece.Benedict XVI gives the schismatic the title of jurisdiction by calling him Archbishop.To declare that someone is a true archbishop is to declare that this person is part of the hierarchy of the Catholic Church.This is, therefore, an outrageous heresy by Benedict XVI.Even though the Orthodox schismatics have validly ordained bishops and priests, they openly deny numerous Catholic dogmas, including papal infallibility.They are outside the Catholic Church.The Orthodox Church is just like the Protestant Churches, with the exception that they have some valid sacraments and valid priests.So to call a schismatic an archbishop and a distinguished pastor of the Church is to be a schismatic.

Benedict XVI then goes on to say that I and Catholics around the world pray the Orthodox Church of Greece will be sustained by the grace of God in continuing to build on the pastoral achievements of the late [schismatic] Archbishop.This statement is so heretical that there are almost no words to describe it.Think deeply about what Benedict XVI is saying.Benedict XVI declares that he and the other Catholics around the world pray that the openly schismatic Church will be sustained by the grace of God in continuing to build on the pastoral achievements of the late schismatic.Benedict XVI is therefore saying that all Catholics pray that the schismatic church will continue to promote its schism and be strengthened in schism.He then declares that the schismatic bishop was a faithful servant of the Lord.He then caps off his amazingly schismatic telegram by stating to the other openly schismatic Orthodox bishops: you guide the Church.

A HERETIC CANNOT BE A VALID POPE

It is a proven fact that Ratzinger (now Benedict XVI) is a non-Catholic heretic.The Catholic Church teaches that a heretic cannot be validly elected Pope, since a heretic is not a member of the Catholic Church.Ratzinger, who is now Benedict XVI, is a non-Catholic Antipope whose election was utterly null and void.

Pope Paul IV, Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Officio, Feb. 15, 1559: 6. In addition, [by this Our Constitution, which is to remain valid in perpetuity We enact, determine, decree and define:-] that if ever at any time it shall appear that any Bishop, even if he be acting as an Archbishop, Patriarch or Primate; or any Cardinal of the aforesaid Roman Church, or, as has already been mentioned, any legate, or even the Roman Pontiff, prior to his promotion or his elevation as Cardinal or Roman Pontiff, has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into some heresy:

(i) the promotion or elevation, even if it shall have been uncontested and by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void and worthless
;
(ii) it shall not be possible for it to acquire validity (nor for it to be said that it has thus acquired validity) through the acceptance of the office, of consecration, of subsequent authority, nor through possession of administration, nor through the putative enthronement of a Roman Pontiff, or Veneration, or obedience accorded to such by all, nor through the lapse of any period of time in the foregoing situation;
(iii) it shall not be held as partially legitimate in any way

(vi) those thus promoted or elevated shall be deprived automatically, and without need for any further declaration, of all dignity, position, honour, title, authority, office and power.

10. No one at all, therefore, may infringe this document of our approbation, re-introduction, sanction, statute and derogation of wills and decrees, or by rash presumption contradict it. If anyone, however, should presume to attempt this, let him know that he is destined to incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles, Peter and Paul.

Given in Rome at Saint Peter's in the year of the Incarnation of the Lord 1559, 15th February, in the fourth year of our Pontificate.

+ I, Paul, Bishop of the Catholic Church

St. Robert Bellarmine: A pope who is a manifest heretic automatically (per se) ceases to be pope and head, just as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and a member of the Church.Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by the Church.This is the teaching of all the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction. (De Romano Pontifice, II, 30)
