News and Catholic Commentary

This section of our website will concern things that touch upon the Catholic Faith and the apostasy of the Vatican II sect, as well as many other items which are significant and valuable for our readers to see.  By linking to outside websites, we do not endorse them or suggest that people could support them.  Rather, it is simply because we deem those particular news items or linked pages to be of value or interest.  Among other things, this news section of our website will provide corroborating evidence for what we have proven in our books, articles and DVDs: that the worldwide structure under Benedict XVI, which follows Vatican II and the invalid New Mass (the Novus Ordo), and which claims to be the Roman Catholic Church, is actually a counterfeit sect of the last days that poses as the Catholic Church but is not.  This column is updated frequently.

Latvia’s government collapses amid economic crisis

“Latvia's coalition government has collapsed after failing to tackle a crippling economic crisis.  The People's Party, the largest group in a five-party coalition, walked out amid disputes over how to cope with the country's severe problems.  Unemployment has now hit 20 per cent and the economy contracted by 18 per cent last year.”

In response to the policy revisions, Alliance Defense Fund attorneys on Wednesday filed a notice of voluntary dismissal of the lawsuit they had pursued on behalf of the student.”

Planned Parenthood 1952: Abortion kills a baby

“According to a pamphlet unearthed by the pro-life group Live Action, back in 1952, Planned Parenthood - today the largest abortion provider in the United States - told women that having an abortion was a danger to their lives, health, and fertility, and kills a baby.  Live Action’s investigative journalists have uncovered the pamphlet from Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) that emphatically espoused an anti-abortion position, while explaining artificial birth control: “the use of medically approved methods to postpone pregnancy until you are ready for it."

Vatican exorcist: the New (V-2) Rite  of Exorcism is a farce

Amorth is unfortunately a pro-Vatican II heretic, but the fact that he admits that the New Rite of Exorcism is a farce is quite revealing: “This long-awaited Ritual has turned into a farce. An incredible obstacle that is likely to prevent us acting against the demon…I will give you but two examples. Two spectacular examples. Point 15 treats of evil spells and how one should behave when dealing with them. An evil spell is an evil brought about on a person by means of recourse to the devil. It can be accomplished under a variety of forms like spells, curses, the evil eye, voodoo and macumba. The Roman Ritual used to explain how one should confront it. The New Ritual on the other hand categorically declares that it is absolutely forbidden to perform exorcisms in such cases. Absurd. Evil spells are by far the most frequent causes of possessions and evil procured through the demon: at least 90% of cases. It is as good as telling exorcists they can no longer perform exorcisms.”

Idaho first to sign law aimed at health care plan

The move for universal health care is the first concrete step toward the socialization of this country.  It’s additionally outrageous that the final version of the bill, which involves almost 1 trillion dollars, one-sixth of the U.S. economy, and thousands of pages, was only posted online and released today, a mere 72 hours before they will vote on it.  Rush it through as quickly as possible; that’s their plan.  This is a scam, pure and simple: “Idaho took the lead in a growing, nationwide fight against health care overhaul Wednesday when its governor became the first to sign a measure requiring the state attorney general to sue the federal government if residents are forced to buy health insurance.”

Albuquerque new late-term abortion capital

“Brazilian authorities are investigating three priests accused of sexually abusing altar boys after a video allegedly showing one case of abuse was broadcast on television, police and church officials said Tuesday.”

Benedict XVI attended Rome's Lutheran church

This is absolute heresy manifested by deed: “This afternoon, Benedict XVI visited the Evangelical-Lutheran church of Rome, a building inaugurated in 1922, where he was welcomed by Jens-Martin Kruse, pastor of the city’s Lutheran community. John Paul II visited the same church in December 1983, for the fifth centenary of the birth of Martin Luther.  As the Pope and the Lutheran pastor advanced towards the altar, a choir of Lutherans and Catholic seminarians sang Mozart’s “Jubilate Deo”.  Following a greeting from the president of the Lutheran community, Pastor Kruse and the Pope both delivered homilies.”

Vatican II "Catholic" Church losing Latinos in USA

Census Bureau will count same-sex "couples" as "married"

“The U.S. Census Bureau has changed its interpretation of the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) to allow it to tabulate same-sex couples who self-identify their union as a marriage, even though DOMA prohibits any federal agency from recognizing same-sex unions as marriages.”

Vatican (II sect): Homilies should not exceed 8 minutes

They don’t have much to say in their empty, faithless religion.  Plus, almost all the members of those churches don’t have the patience to sit through more than about 10 minutes: “In a new book consisting of reflections based on the 2008 Synod on the Word of God, the secretary for the Synod of Bishops, Archbishop Nikola Eterovic, writes that homilies should not last more than eight minutes.”

V-2 "priest's" victims forced into silence

“The leader of the Catholic Church in Ireland resisted calls for his resignation yesterday, despite admitting that he took part in meetings where the victims of a paedophile priest were forced to take a vow of silence.  Cardinal Sean Brady, the Primate of All Ireland, has confirmed he was present at a closed canonical tribunal in 1975 when two child victims of Father Brendan Smyth were ordered to sign agreements under oath that they would not discuss what happened to them with anybody other than an approved priest.”

Banished! City forbids Bible studies in homes

Right before our eyes we are seeing the gradual transformation of the United States from a free country into a socialist or communist one: “The city of Gilbert, Ariz., has ordered a group of seven adults to stop gathering for Bible studies in a private home because such meetings are forbidden by the city's zoning codes.  The issue was brought to a head when city officials wrote a letter to a [man] and his wife informing them they had 10 days to quit having the meetings in their private home.”

V-2 "Catholic" order, "the Legion of Christ," under fire for abuse claims

“As sex abuse scandals rock the Vatican, the results of an investigation into a… secretive Roman Catholic order founded by a priest accused of pedophilia and incest are due to be filed in Rome tomorrow.  The sordid story of the Legion of Christ, whose late founder, the Rev. Marcial Maciel Degollado, was a close ally of… John Paul II before being forcibly retired by the Vatican in 2006, is a microcosm of the crisis currently enveloping the church.”

Benedict XVI involved in German pedophile V-2 "priest" scandal

Benedict XVI “was drawn directly into the Roman Catholic sex abuse scandal last night as news emerged of his part in a decision to send a paedophile priest for therapy. The cleric went on to reoffend and was convicted of child abuse but continues to work as a priest in Upper Bavaria.”

Abuse claims sweep V-2 Church in Europe

“It often starts as a voice in the wilderness, but can swell into an entire nation's demand for truth. From Ireland to Germany, Europe's many victims of child abuse in the Roman Catholic church are finally breaking social taboos and confronting the clergy to face its demons.  Ireland was the first in Europe to confront the church's worldwide custom of shielding pedophile priests from the law and public scandal. Now that legacy of suppressed childhood horror is being confronted in other parts of the Continent — nowhere more poignantly than in Germany, the homeland of… Benedict XVI.”

Indiana student sues to stop prayer

“The top-ranked senior at a suburban Indianapolis high school is asking a federal judge to stop a graduation prayer that the class voted to approve.  The lawsuit by 18-year-old Eric Workman claims the prayer and the vote at Greenwood High School unconstitutionally subject religious practice to majority rule.”

Prominent V-2 "Cardinal" Schonborn claims celibacy causes abuse

This is heresy: “A leading cardinal today claimed that the sex abuse cases rocking the Roman Catholic Church were due to 'priestly celibacy'.  Calling for a 'change of vision', Cardinal Christoph Schoenborn, leader of the Catholic Church in Austria, said the causes of sex abuse by priests could be found in 'priest celibacy' and 'priest training'.”

Conservative speech deemed "hateful propaganda"

“Jonathan Lopez had an assignment in a public speaking class and was required to give an informative speech on any topic. Alliance Defense Fund (ADF) attorney David Hacker tells OneNewsNow that Lopez chose to speak about his… beliefs. "And during that speech, when he mentioned that marriage is between a man and a woman according to his Christian beliefs, the professor called him this horrible name, refused to let him finish the assignment, and told other students in the class, 'If you're offended, you can leave,'" Hacker explains.”

Miss. school axes prom after lesbian date request

They shouldn’t be having the prom in the first place, but it’s good that rather than give in to the lesbian abomination and the evil ACLU they decided to cancel it: “A northern Mississippi school district decided Wednesday not to host a high school prom after a lesbian student demanded she be able to attend with her girlfriend and wear a tuxedo.  The Itawamba County school district's policy requires that senior prom dates be of the opposite sex.”

New bill allows citizens to be indefinitely detained without trial

“New bill allows U.S. citizens to be kidnapped and detained without trial indefinitely based on “suspected activity.” The bill does not distinguish between U.S. citizens and non-citizens, and states that “suspected belligerents” who are “considered a “high-value detainee” shall not be provided with a Miranda warning.”  A person is considered a “high value detainee” if they fulfil one of the following criteria.

1) poses a threat of an attack on civilians or civilian facilities within the U.S. or U.S. facilities abroad; (2) poses a threat to U.S. military personnel or U.S. military facilities; (3) potential intelligence value; (4) is a member of al Qaeda or a terrorist group affiliated with al Qaeda or (5) such other matters as the President considers appropriate.  Now that the Southern Poverty Law Center and the federal government, via the MIAC report and innumerable other leaked documents, now consider virtually anyone with a dissenting opinion against the state as “posing a threat,” millions of peaceful American citizens could be swept up by this frightening dragnet of tyranny.”

In these evil times, it’s difficult for anything that is remotely good to move forward without tremendous opposition.“A sweeping anti-abortion statute in Utah that would have allowed up to life in prison for a woman whose fetus died from her intentional or reckless behavior was withdrawn by its sponsor on Thursday and will be revised to be narrower in scope.  The original bill, which was sent to Gov. Royal Lane Baptist "church" accepts gays and lesbians

Another example of the bad fruits of false Christianity/Protestantism: “A church, like a person, can come out of the closet. And that's what Royal Lane Baptist did recently.  The 500-member church in North Dallas has for years quietly welcomed gays and lesbians, even ordaining some as deacons.  Last month, risking conflict with the Baptist General Convention of Texas, a majority of deacons voted to change Royal Lane's Web site to reflect the church's welcome to and affirmation of gays and lesbians.”

Ailing Quebec churches undergo secular transformation

“Under a vaulted, blue-sky ceiling, a group of acrobats flies through the air, lunging against a backdrop of Greco-Roman inspired columns in Saint-Esprit Church, now home to a circus school in Quebec City. Mayor Jose Neto of Sao Lourenco in southeastern Minas Gerais state told Globo television he was banning songs that incite violence and disrespect authority and wanted to protect more traditional Carnival music, such as samba.”

Feds push for tracking cell phones

“… the Obama administration has argued that warrantless tracking is permitted because Americans enjoy no "reasonable expectation of privacy" in their--or at least their cell phones'—whereabouts.”

Venezuela seeks God's help amid energy crisis

They look to God when they have problems, but they don’t care about His faith or His morality the rest of the time: “A state-run power company is urging its employees to seek divine intervention to help Venezuela resolve severe electricity shortages that prompted President Hugo Chavez to declare an energy emergency.  Edelca, one of the country's state power companies, called on its workers to attend a prayer meeting this week titled: "Clamor to God for the National Electricity Sector."

Some thoughts on our recent New Mass Debate [article]

This article is worth printing out and reading.  It exposes the absolutely shocking and appalling dishonesty of our last debate opponent, and pins down his fabrication of a quote from St. Jerome and more.  It also covers certain key points and quotes on the New Mass issue.  It will be found permanently in our file on the New Mass Debate, which is accessible under Traditional Catholic Audios.   It will also be found in our sub-section dealing with various issues under Traditional Catholic Issues and Groups.

30 pounds of pot found inside pictures of Jesus

“A marijuana bust along the U.S.-Mexico border revealed 30 pounds of the drug stuffed into framed pictures of Jesus Christ, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency said Wednesday. "This is not the first time we have seen smugglers attempt to use religious figures and articles of faith to further their criminal enterprise," said William Molaski, port director of the agency's office in El Paso, Texas, in a statement.”

Benedict XVI engages in false ecumenism with Lutherans

It’s a never-ending stream of heresy.  Notice that the antipope encourages “Catholics” and Lutherans to a mutual conversion, consistent with his heretical teaching that the non-Catholics don’t have to convert: “After today’s general audience, the Holy Father met with a delegation from the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA) in which he expressed hope for the “continuing Lutheran-Catholic dialogue. The Pope the noted that an important additional task “will be to harvest the results of the Lutheran-Catholic dialogue that so promisingly started after the Vatican Council II.”  In order to continue “what has been achieved together since that time, he encouraged Lutherans and Catholics toward “ardent prayer” and “conversion to Christ, the source of grace and truth” in order to build a “spiritual ecumenism.”

Anti-homosexual flyers targeted as "hate speech"

“A campaign has been launched in Montgomery County, Md., to classify the speech of advocates for people who choose to leave the homosexual lifestyle as "hate speech," which then could be banned under a new law signed last year by President Obama.  "Hate speech is unwelcome in Montgomery County Public Schools," said an e-mail to the offices of Regina Griggs, national director of Parents and Friends of Ex-Gays & Gays, known as PFOX. "I would like to ask that you immediately cease distribution of your flyers at our public schools. "We intend to pursue every method possible to protest your actions if you choose to continue," the message warned.”

Exorcism chapel opened in Mexico

Not that these are valid priests or Catholic priests, but this shows the level of demonic activity occurring: “A Mexican church in the central city of Queretaro has opened a chapel in which exorcisms can take place.  There are no accurate figures for the number of exorcisms in Mexico.  But the Roman Catholic Church says that in Mexico City alone there are about 10 cases a month - and the phenomenon is on the rise.”

Mass vaccinations in Haiti, death toll way up

Yes, they must make sure to plug the people with the harmful vaccines: “As fear for post-disaster epidemics haunts, doctors from some countries and international organizations are orchestrating vaccination efforts against diseases that may spread in the tent cities of quake-hit Haiti.  Children are main vaccination targets and vulnerable adults will also get vaccine shots in temporary residence areas which are mostly large tents in open places.”

Congresswoman: God will "curse" American if it opposes Israel

The brainwashed, upside-down heresies continue: “Michele Bachmann, the outspoken conservative House representative from Minnesota, says the United States will cease to exist if it "fails to stand" with Israel.”

NY vaccines for kids without parents' consent

“Two bills in the New York State legislature would, if passed, allow healthcare practitioners to vaccinate children under 18 against HPV without their parent’s consent. The bills would require the vaccinations before children could attend school, leading to the interesting potential scenario of schools vaccinating kids without their parents’ consent simply because the child wants to stay in school.”

Satanic video game rewards killing unbaptized babies

“The Super Bowl ad claimed, "Hell awaits," and players who fire up "Dante's Inferno" on their Xbox 360 can dive right in to slay all sorts of demons and dark lords to save the girl from Satan's grasp.  There's even a level where players can take on knife-wielding unbaptized babies. Kill enough of them, and players will unlock an "achievement" called the "Bad Nanny" award.   The anticipated new release from video game maker Electronic Arts is only one of several console games to recently make a list of eight devilish titles compiled by Lance Christian of Alton, Ill.”

Planned Parenthood pushes sex "ed" for kids

''A new Planned Parenthood report advocates telling children as young as 10 about… sex and undermines religious taboos against premarital sex. The report from the International Planned Parenthood Federation criticizes denominations such as the Catholic Church… for their attitudes about sexual activity. It mirrors a similar U.N. report in August… Children 10 and older should be seen as “sexual beings” and receive “comprehensive sexuality education” because sexuality should be seen as “a positive force for change and development,” as well as an “embodiment of human rights and an expression of self,” according to the report, titled “Stand and Deliver...”
