Antipope John Paul II Kissing the Blasphemous Koran

JP2 kissing kissing the blasphemous Koran, May 14, 1999. The Koran denies the Most Holy Trinity and the Divinity of Jesus Christ   This is total apostasy.

St. Thomas Aquinas, Summa Thelogica, Pt. II-II, Q. 12, A. 1, Obj. 2.: "…if anyone were to... worship at the tomb of Mahomet, he would be deemed an apostate."

Pope Eugene IV, Council of Basel, Session 19, Sept. 7, 1434:

“Moreover, we trust that with God’s help another benefit will accrue to the Christian commonwealth; because from this union, once it is established, there is hope that very many from the abominable sect of Mahomet will be converted to the Catholic faith.”

St. Francis Xavier, May, 1546: “The evil [of Islam] was introduced by some Mahometan caicizes (ministers of religion), who came from Mecca in Arabia, where the accursed body of Mahomet is honored with great superstition.”

St. Francis of Assisi (+ c. 1210): [To the Muslims] “We have come to preach faith in Jesus Christ to you, that you will renounce Mohammed, that wicked slave of the devil, and obtain everlasting life like us.”

Antipope John Paul II in the Mosque

In the upper left we see Antipope John Paul II entering "Great Omayyad Mosque" of Damascus on May 6, 2001. In the other photos we see him in the mosque with the infidel Grand Mufti, Sheikh Ahmad Kfutaro.  While in the mosque, Antipope John Paul II took off his shoes in reverence for the house of infidelity. He also was seated in a chair identical to that of the infidel Grand Mufti. And here is the statement that John Paul II made to the Muslims that day:

Antipope John Paul II, Speech to the Muslims from the Mosque, May 6, 2001: "It is in mosques and churches that the Muslim and Christian communities shape their religious identity...What sense of identity is instilled in young Christians and young Muslims in our churches and mosques?  It is my ardent hope that Muslim and Christian religious leaders and teachers will present our two great communities in respectful dialogue, never more as communities in conflict."

This is total and utter apostasy.  Antipope John Paul II has also stated, “May St. John the Baptist protect Islam!” on March 21, 2000.

Antipope John Paul II meets with Muslim King and calls Mohammed "the prophet"

On April 12, 2000, Antipope John Paul II met with Morocco's King Mohammed VI in a private audience at the Vatican. Antipope John Paul II observed that the young king traces his ancestry back directly to the Islamic "prophet" Mohammed. "You are a descendant of the Prophet, aren't you?" Antipope John Paul II said as he greeted the Moroccan ruler. "Yes, your Holiness," Mohammed replied, visibly startled and pleased by the question.

Antipope John Paul II's meeting with Grand Sheikh Mohammed

In Feb. of 2000, Antipope John Paul II met with the Islamic "Grand Sheikh” Mohammed. Antipope John Paul II committed another act of apostasy in his speech to the Muslims. Antipope John Paul II thanked those who develop Islamic culture!  He thanked the infidels for developing a culture which denies Jesus Christ, the Trinity and the Catholic Faith on a massive scale, and keeps hundreds of millions in the darkness of the Devil.

In fact, of all the evil things in the world that one can think of, Islamic culture has to ranked in the top five of the most evil, if it is not number one.  Catholic history is filled with long periods of spiritual and physical battles between the Christian West and the Islamic hordes.

Antipope John Paul II, Message to "Grand Sheikh Mohammed," Feb. 24, 2000: "Islam is a religion. Christianity is a religion. Islam has become a culture. Christianity has become also a culture... I thank your university, the biggest center of Islamic culture. I thank those who are developing Islamic culture..." (L’Osservatore Romano, March 1, 2000, p. 5.)

This is a total rejection of Jesus Christ and it constitutes formal apostasy.  No Catholic would ever make such a statement even one time.
