BENEDICT XVI REPEATS HIS BELIEF THAT THE “ORTHODOX” ARE PART
OF THE CHURCH
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p. 89:
“… what I defended was the heritage of the Second Vatican Council and of the
entire history of the Church. The passage [from Dominus Iesus] means that the Eastern Churches [i.e., the
“Orthodox”] are genuine particular churches, although they are not in
communion with the Pope. In this
sense, unity with the Pope is not constitutive for the particular church.”
This is an extremely significant heresy. Benedict XVI boldly states what he and the
Vatican II sect have taught many times in many different ways: that the Eastern
Schismatics are part of the Church, even though they reject the papal office. He says that the Eastern “Orthodox” churches
are true particular churches, i.e., true local churches within the one true
Church, even though they reject the primacy of the pope. This heretical teaching denies dozens of
magisterial statements, the dogmatic teaching of the Church, the understanding
of the papacy since the beginning, the understanding of Church unity since the
beginning, and the specific definitions of Vatican I. It’s quite important because it undercuts and
destroys any appeal that defenders of Benedict XVI can make to Vatican I or the
Papacy. Benedict XVI denies all of
Catholic teaching on the Papacy with this heresy – a heresy he has taught
numerous times.
Pope
Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum (# 15), June
29, 1896: “From this it must be clearly understood that Bishops are deprived of
the right and power of ruling, if they
deliberately secede from Peter and his successors; because, by this secession, they are separated from the foundation on
which the whole edifice must rest. They
are therefore outside the edifice itself…”
Pope
Pius IX, Amantissimus (# 3), April 8, 1862: “There
are other, almost countless, proofs drawn from the most trustworthy witnesses
which clearly and openly testify with great faith, exactitude, respect and
obedience that all who want to
belong to the true and only Church of Christ must honor and obey this Apostolic
See and the Roman Pontiff.”
Pope Pius IX, Vatican Council I, 1870, Sess. 4, Chap. 3, ex cathedra: "… all the faithful of Christ must believe
that the Apostolic See and the Roman Pontiff hold primacy over the whole world,
and the Pontiff of Rome himself is the successor of the blessed Peter, the
chief of the apostles, and is the true vicar of Christ and head of the whole
Church... Furthermore We teach and declare that the Roman Church, by the
disposition of the Lord, holds the sovereignty of ordinary power over all
others… This is the doctrine of
Catholic truth from which no one can deviate and keep his faith
and salvation." (Denz. 1826-1827)
Pope
Pelagius II, epistle (2) Dilectionis
vestrae, 585: “Does he who does not hold this unity of the Church believe
that he has the faith? Does he who deserts and resists the chair
of Peter, on which the Church was founded, have confidence that he is in the
Church?”
Pope
Pius VI, Charitas (# 32), April 13,
1791: “Finally, in one word, stay close to Us.
For no one can be in the Church
of Christ without being in unity with its visible head and founded on the See
of Peter.”
Pope
Leo XIII, Satis Cognitum (# 13), June
29, 1896: “Therefore if a man does not want to be, or to be called, a heretic,
let him not strive to please this or that man… but let him hasten before all
things to be in communion with the Roman See.”
Pope
Pius XI, Mortalium Animos (# 11),
Jan. 6, 1928: “Furthermore, in this one
Church of Christ no man can be or remain who does not accept, recognize and
obey the authority and supremacy of Peter and his legitimate successors.”
Pope
Pius XII, Mystici Corporis Christi (#
22), June 29, 1943: “As therefore in the
true Christian community there is only one Body, one Spirit, one Lord, and one
Baptism, so there can only be one faith. And therefore if a man refuse to hear the
Church let him be considered – so the Lord commands – as a heathen and
publican. It follows that those who are divided in faith or government cannot be
living in the unity of such a Body, nor can they be living the life of its one
Divine Spirit.”
Pope
Pius VII, Diu Satis (# 15), May 15,
1800: “So the sheep of Christ should consider safe and eat cheerfully the food
to which Peter’s voice and authority directs them; but despite any beauty and
charm, they should shun as harmful and plague-ridden, what this voice forbids
them. Those who do not comply are certainly not to be counted among the sheep
of Christ.”
Pope
St. Leo the Great: “It is necessary that the Church throughout the whole world
be united and cleave to the center of ecclesiastical communion, so that whoever dares to depart from the unity of
Peter might understand that he no longer shares in the divine mystery.”[i]
Pope
Gregory XVI, Commissum divinitus (#
11), May 17, 1835: “Just as he who does not gather with Christ, so he who does
not gather with Christ’s vicar on earth, clearly scatters. How
can someone who destroys the holy authority of the Vicar of Christ and who
infringes on his rights gather with him?”
BENEDICT XVI RESPECTS THE DIABOLICAL RELIGION OF ISLAM
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p. 98:
“During my visit to Turkey, I was able
to show that I respect Islam, that I acknowledge it as a great religious
reality with which we must be in dialogue.”
This is apostasy.
Pope Eugene
IV, Council of Basel, 1434: “… there
is hope that very many from the
abominable sect of Mahomet will be converted to the Catholic faith.”[ii]
Pope
Callixtus III: “I vow to… exalt the true Faith, and to extirpate the diabolical sect of the reprobate and
faithless Mahomet [Islam] in the East.”[iii]
BENEDICT XVI SAYS PRIESTS WHO LIVE WITH WOMEN CAN MARRY
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p. 39:
“When a priest lives together with a woman, one must examine whether they could
build a good marriage. If that is the
case, they must follow that path.”
In other words, the priest’s vow can
be removed if he decides he wants to stay with the woman.
BENEDICT XVI SAYS HE WOULD NOT HAVE ACCEPTED A “HOLOCAUST”-DENIER
INTO THE CHURCH
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
121: “Q. Would you have signed the decree lifting the excommunication [of the
SSPX bishops] if you had known that among the four bishops there was a person
who denied the existence of the gas chambers?
A. No. If I had known, the first step would have
been to separate the Williamson case from the others. Unfortunately, though, none of us went on the
Internet to find out what sort of person we were dealing with.”
According to Benedict XVI, Jewish
beliefs about the existence of gas chambers during World War II are official
teachings of the Catholic Church. They
are binding under pain of exclusion from the Body. This is outrageous schism and heresy.
BENEDICT XVI SAYS HE WOULD NEVER ACCEPT A “HOLOCAUST”-DENIER
INTO POLITE SOCIETY
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
124: “Q. Nevertheless, the General
Secretary of the Central Council of Jews in Germany went so far as to claim
that the Pope wanted to introduce a Holocaust-denier into polite society…
Doesn’t all of this suggest that, in light of the Williamson affair, the
relation to the Jews is still in flux? A.
One thing that is evident, at any rate, is that there are still great
fears and tensions and that the dialogue can easily be damaged and is
fragile. In the worldwide Jewish
community as a whole, however, there
were many people who immediately vouched for me and said that I would never
introduce a Holocaust-denier into polite society. These
people know me. In that sense, a
breakdown of the dialogue was out of the question.”
Since the Church is the most
charitable and polite society of all, this again means that he would not
introduce a “Holocaust”-denier into the Church.
To him, accepting the Jewish version of history concerning the
“Holocaust” and the gas chambers is a dogma.
This is schismatic and outrageous, but quite revealing. It shows that Antipope Benedict XVI is just a
diabolical tool of non-Catholic and antichrist forces. Also
consider that while he declares that he would never accept a “Holocaust”-denier
into polite society, he would and does accept Christ-deniers into polite
society (e.g., his Jewish friends and Jewish leaders). He has therefore put the Jewish story about
World War II above the life, death
and Resurrection of Jesus Christ. This
is simply a fact.
BENEDICT XVI HAS RECEIVED “COMMUNION” IN THE HAND
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
158: “I am not opposed in principle to communion in the hand; I have both administered and received
communion in this way.”
Some false conservatives within the
Vatican II sect maintain that Benedict XVI is opposed to “Communion” in the
hand. They are wrong, as usual. Benedict XVI not only accepts it; he has
given and received it in the hand.
BENEDICT XVI’S VERY FIRST “PAPAL ACT” WAS A LETTER TO THE
JEWISH COMMUNITY OF ROME; HE SAYS THAT THE JEWS HAVE A “MISSION”
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p. 81:
“… Q. Your very first official act as Successor of Peter was a letter to the
Jewish community of Rome. Was this
symbolic gesture meant to convey a basic thrust of the pontificate? A.
Absolutely. I must say that
from the very first day I began to study theology, the intrinsic unity of the
Old and New Covenants, of the two parts of Holy Scripture, was somehow
immediately clear to me... Then as Germans we were of course shaken by what
happened in the Third Reich, which gave us a special reason to look with
humility and shame, and with love, upon the People of Israel. As I have just said, it was already during my
theological studies that these things came together and began to shape the
course of my thinking as a theologian. For this reason it was clear to me – here,
too, in the full continuity with Pope John Paul II – that this new, loving,
sympathetic interrelation of Israel and the Church, where each respects the
being and distinctive mission of the other, had to play an essential part
in my proclamation of the Christian faith.”
Benedict XVI confirms the symbolism
and meaning behind his decision to make his official first act a letter to the
Jews. He explains that this new interrelation with the Jews involves
respect for their distinctive
“mission.” If he considers them to have
a valid “mission,” then he considers Judaism after Christ and without Christ to
be a valid religion. This is apostasy. He respects and validates the denial of Jesus
Christ and the practice of the Old Law, which became spiritually deadly after
the promulgation of the Gospel.
Pope Eugene IV, Council of
Florence, 1441, ex cathedra:
“The Holy Roman
Church firmly believes, professes and teaches that the matter pertaining to the
law of the Old Testament, the Mosaic law, which are divided into ceremonies,
sacred rites, sacrifices, and sacraments… after our Lord’s coming… ceased, and the sacraments of the New Testament began… All,
therefore, who after that time (the promulgation of the Gospel) observe
circumcision and the Sabbath and the other requirements of the law, the holy
Roman Church declares alien to the Christian faith and not in the least fit to
participate in eternal salvation.”
Pope Benedict XIV, Ex Quo Primum
(# 61), March 1, 1756: “The first
consideration is that the ceremonies of the Mosaic Law were abrogated by the
coming of Christ and that they can no longer be observed without sin after the
promulgation of the Gospel.”
Pope Pius XII, Mystici Corporis
Christi (#’s 29-30), June 29, 1943: “And first of all, by the death of our
Redeemer, the New Testament took the
place of the Old Law which had been abolished… on the gibbet of His death Jesus made void the Law with its decrees
[Eph. 2:15]… establishing the New Testament in His blood shed for the whole
human race. ‘To such an extent, then,’ says St. Leo the Great, speaking of the Cross
of our Lord, ‘was there effected a transfer from the Law to the Gospel, from
the Synagogue to the Church, from many sacrifices to one Victim, that, as
our Lord expired, that mystical veil which shut off the innermost part of the temple and its sacred secret was rent
violently from top to bottom.’ On the Cross then the Old Law died,
soon to be buried and to be a bearer of death…”
BENEDICT XVI SPEAKS OF THE EVOLUTION HERESY AS IF IT’S A
FACT
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
151: “We could say, if we wanted to put it like this, that evolution has brought forth sexuality for the purpose of
reproducing the species. The same
thing is true from a theological point of view as well.”
BENEDICT XVI SAYS THAT HOMOSEXUALITY MIGHT BE INBORN
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
152: “If someone has deep-seated homosexual inclinations – and it is still an open question whether these
inclinations are really innate or whether they arise in early childhood – if,
in any case, they have power over him, this is a great trial for him, just as
other trials can afflict other people as well.”
Innate means “inborn.” He is saying that some people might be born
as homosexuals. This contradicts
biblical teaching on the unnatural abomination of homosexuality (see Romans 1).
BENEDICT XVI UNDERSTANDS WHY PEOPLE REJECT THE CATHOLIC
CHURCH
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p. 31:
“Q. And nevertheless it is difficult for
many people these days to stand by the Church.
Can you understand why people respond by leaving in protest? A. I can understand it. I am thinking of course above all about the
victims themselves. That it is difficult for them to keep believing that the Church is a
source of good, that she communicates the light of Christ, that she helps
people in life – I can understand that.”
Obviously Peter Seewald is not
asking Benedict XVI if he is intellectually capable of processing why these
people have decided to leave the Church.
Benedict XVI knows and can process why they left. Rather, Seewald is asking – and Benedict XVI
obviously understands the meaning of the question – whether Benedict XVI can
look upon their decision to reject the Catholic Church with possible justification.
Benedict XVI’s answer is yes.
BENEDICT XVI ADMITS THAT V-2 “CATHOLIC” SCHOOLS ARE A JOKE
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
140: “Q. How is it possible that in many
Western countries every child spends years studying the Catholic religion in
school, yet on graduation may know more about Buddhism than he does about the
basic tenets of Catholicism, which he may not even be able to recognize? All of which happens in a system that is
under the responsibility of the dioceses. A. That
is a question that I also ask myself.
Every child in Germany has nine to thirteen years of religion in
school. Why, in spite of that, so very
little sticks, if I may put it like that, is incomprehensible.”
BENEDICT
XVI SAYS VATICAN II CONTAINS NEW DEFINITIONS
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p. 65:
“Above all, the Council took up and
carried out its great mission of defining in a new way the Church’s purpose
as well as her relation to the modern era, and also the relation of faith to
this time with its values.”
BENEDICT XVI SAYS THE CHURCH DOESN’T OFFER A MORAL SYSTEM
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
176: “The Church is not here to place burdens on the shoulders of mankind, and she does not offer some sort of moral
system.”
Romans 3:31- “Do we, then, destroy the law
through faith? God forbid: but we establish the law.”
BENEDICT XVI SAYS NFP BIRTH REGULATION IS A WAY OF LIFE
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, p.
147: “Q. But does the Catholic Church in point of fact refuse any regulation of
conception whatsoever? A. No. After all, everyone knows that the Church
affirms natural regulation of conception, which is not just a method, but also
a way of life.”
BENEDICT XVI SAYS THAT VATICAN II’S [HERETICAL] TEACHING ON
PROTESTANTISM AND EASTERN “ORTHODOXY” IS BINDING
Benedict
XVI, Light of the World, 2010, pp.
94-96: “Q. Is it really true that the
Pope does not regard Protestants as a Church, but, unlike the Eastern Church,
only as an ecclesial community? This
distinction strikes many as demeaning.
A. The word ‘ecclesial community’
is a term employed by the Second Vatican Council. The Council applied a very simple rule in
these matters. A Church in the proper
sense, as we understand it, exists where the episcopal office, as the
sacramental expression of apostolic succession, is present –which also implies
the existence of the Eucharist as a sacrament that is dispensed by the bishop
and the priest. If this is not the case,
then we are dealing with the emergence of another model, a new way of
understanding what a church is, which at Vatican II we designated by the term
‘ecclesiastical community.’ The word was intended to indicate that such
communities embody a different mode of being a church. As they themselves insist, it is precisely
not the same mode in which the Churches of the great tradition of antiquity are
Churches, but is based on a new understanding, according to which a church
consists, not in the institution, but in the dynamism of the Word that gathers
people into a congregation… Q. And
not even a Pope can offer an alternative definition of a Church? A.
No. He has no authority over
that. The Second Vatican Council is
binding on him.”
We quote this long passage because
it’s important. Notice that it’s not
even a question to Benedict XVI whether the Eastern Schismatics are part of the
Church; he takes for granted that they are.
Benedict XVI then explains the Vatican II sect’s distinction between
“Churches” and “ecclesiastical communities.”
The Protestant sects, he explains, are not “Churches” in the proper
sense simply because they don’t have valid bishops. According to him, they are still part of the
Church; but they simply embody “a different mode of being a church.” So much for the Catholic dogma that heretics
are outside the Church. He doesn’t
exclude the Protestant sects from the one true Church; he identifies them as
“church (ecclesial) communities” within the Church, even though they lack the
distinction of “genuine particular Churches” that is granted to the Eastern
Schismatics. All of this is heretical
and illustrative of the new religion.
Benedict XVI then declares that this heretical teaching on the Church,
which he just explained – a completely new teaching on Protestants and
schismatics which denies the Papacy, Vatican I and Church unity - is
binding. That refutes the false
traditionalists. They consider Benedict
XVI to be a pope, but ignore his apostasy and much of his new religion. They can’t have their cake and eat it,
too. They can’t have their heretical
antipope and reject his binding teaching.
BENEDICT XVI DID APPROVE CONDOM USE
Benedict XVI’s book, Light of the World, received headlines
all over the world when it was reported that the book justifies condom
use. Since the passage in question is
somewhat long, and countless people have dishonestly
endeavored explain it away, we direct you to the two videos we did on the
topic.
Benedict XVI did approve Condom Use - Part 1 [video]
Benedict XVI did approve Condom Use - Part 2 [video]
However, it should be noted that while
the world focused on this one passage about condoms – and the false
traditionalists made it their “crusade” to explain it away – the book contains
many heresies. This serves to illustrate
the folly of the defenders of Benedict XVI.
They are fighting tooth and nail to prove that Benedict XVI didn’t
justify condoms (and they are wrong), while they are oblivious to the fact that
in the same book he clearly denies the Papacy (the very assurance behind
Catholic teaching against condoms). See
the first heresy covered in this article.
In his book, Light of the World, there were other statements that conflict with
Catholic teaching; but these should suffice to prove the point that Benedict
XVI is not a Catholic.
A HERETIC CANNOT BE A VALID POPE
It is a proven fact that Ratzinger
(now Benedict XVI) is a non-Catholic heretic.
The Catholic Church teaches that a heretic cannot be validly elected
Pope, since a heretic is not a member of the Catholic Church. Ratzinger, who is now Benedict XVI, is a
non-Catholic antipope whose election was utterly null and void.
Pope
Paul IV, Bull Cum ex Apostolatus Officio,
Feb. 15, 1559: “6. In addition, [by this
Our Constitution, which is to remain valid in perpetuity We enact, determine,
decree and define:-] that if ever at any time it shall appear that any
Bishop, even if he be acting as an Archbishop, Patriarch or Primate; or any
Cardinal of the aforesaid Roman Church, or, as has already been mentioned, any
legate, or even the Roman Pontiff, prior to his promotion or his elevation as
Cardinal or Roman Pontiff, has deviated from the Catholic Faith or fallen into
some heresy:
(i) the promotion or elevation, even if it shall have been uncontested and
by the unanimous assent of all the Cardinals, shall be null, void and worthless;
(ii) it shall not be possible for it to
acquire validity (nor for it to be said that it has thus acquired validity)
through the acceptance of the office, of consecration, of subsequent authority,
nor through possession of administration, nor through the putative enthronement
of a Roman Pontiff, or Veneration, or obedience accorded to such by all, nor
through the lapse of any period of time in the foregoing situation;
(iii) it shall not be held as partially
legitimate in any way…
(vi) those
thus promoted or elevated shall be deprived automatically, and without need for
any further declaration, of all dignity, position, honour, title, authority,
office and power….
10. No one at all, therefore, may infringe this document of our
approbation, re-introduction, sanction, statute and derogation of wills and
decrees, or by rash presumption contradict it. If anyone, however, should presume to attempt this, let him know that
he is destined to incur the wrath of Almighty God and of the blessed Apostles,
Peter and Paul.
Given in Rome at Saint Peter's in the year of the Incarnation of the Lord 1559,
15th February, in the fourth year of our Pontificate.
+ I, Paul, Bishop of the Catholic Church…”
St. Robert Bellarmine: “A pope
who is a manifest heretic automatically (per
se) ceases to be pope and head, just
as he ceases automatically to be a Christian and a member of the Church. Wherefore, he can be judged and punished by
the Church. This is the teaching of all the ancient Fathers who teach that manifest
heretics immediately lose all jurisdiction.” (De Romano Pontifice, II, 30)
The Catholic Encyclopedia, “Papal Elections,” 1914, Vol.
11, p. 456: "Of course, the election of a heretic,
schismatic, or female [as Pope] would
be null and void."
